Horse Adoption Success

Molly

Molly is a mustang mare that came to us after several years of very little human contact. She turned out to be fairly well broke and now has a life of daily attention and trail rides to look forward to with Lee. Congratulations Lee!

Maverick

Maverick was our first rescue here at HHH and has proven his worth time and time again as one amazing pony! He's still a youngster and his training will continue at his new home while he and Sage get to grow up together. Congratulations Sage!

Summer

Summer was rescued as a starving 8 month old filly, but quickly blossomed into a beautiful and affectionate little girl who was hard to resist. She went home with Thunder and Cinnamon and has a wonderful new home to grow and thrive. Congratulations Lawrence!

Cinnamon

Cinnamon was a starved and skittish mare when she arrived here earlier this year. We weren't even sure if she was broke to ride, but once she gained weight and started to trust us, we found that she was actually a well-broke little mare! Now she has a life of leisurely trail rides to look forward to with Terry. Congratulations Terry!

Thunder

Thunder is a laid-back guy who loves attention of any kind, even though he's had a bit of a rough life already. But now he's got it made with Lawrence and will enjoy those long peaceful trail rides ahead of him! Congratulations Lawrence!

Lakota

Lakota came to us earlier this year, thin and covered with hard crusted mud. She cleaned up well and now she's got a life of trail riding to look forward to. Congratulations Jeanine!

Timmy

Timmy is a 18yo TB gelding that came to us as a starving stallion last Fall. He's now a healthy and happy boy, sound for light riding only. He's affectionate and kind and has found a great home with Lee. Congratulations Lee!

Ranger

Ranger is an 8yo QH/Paso Fino gelding who came to us when his owner could no longer afford to feed him. He's a big sweetheart who would really like to crawl into your lap and snuggle with you. Now he's got a great family and lots of kids to shower him with attention. Congratulations to the Huffman family!

Shane

Shane is a 13yo Thoroughbred gelding that came to us when his owner could no longer afford to feed him. He's very well-broke and a real sweetheart of a horse, and now he and Gus have many years of trail riding to look forward to. Congratulations Gus!

Classy

Classy is a 14yo registered Standardbred mare that came to us from another rescue when they could no longer afford to feed all of their horses. She's a real sweetheart of a mare, but still green under saddle. Her new owners are sending her off for training to make her the best husband horse ever! Congratulations Michael!

Cheyenne

Cheyenne is a large pinto pony mare, turned over to us in the Spring of 2009 because her owner could no longer care for her. She had already had a lot of ground work done and was a laid back and easy going mare during training. She's now living with Gentry and loving life. Congratulations Rosa!

Patrick

Patrick is a 7yo pinto pony who is broke to ride and had begun his driving training before coming here to HHH. He's a sweet pony, who loves attention and now has three small humans to spoil and pamper him! Congratulations to the Huffman family!

Patches

Patches is a 16yo pony who is broke to ride and drive. She's had a rough life, but is now living it up as a companion to a miniature gelding. Congratulations Kathy!

Buddy

Buddy was turned over to us as a shy yearling stud colt, but is now a handsome and confident gelding. He'll spend the rest of his days with Donkey on a 200 acre farm not far from here. Congratulations Elizabeth!

Donkey

Donkey has found a forever home with Buddy and is already being spoiled by Elizabeth's dad. He may eventually end up in the house if she's not careful! Congratulations Elizabeth!

Synergy

Synergy is a 7yo registered Trakenher mare who was turned over to us when her owners could no longer afford to feed her. She now has a great new home with Maggie and will be furthering her dressage education next year. Congratulations Maggie!

Baby Girl

Baby Girl is a 2008 Paint/Mustang filly, who became best friends with Trista when she arrived here at HHH. She and Trista were adopted by the same people, so they get to stay together forever! Baby Girl has a life time of trail riding to look forward to with Joyce. Congratulations Joyce!

Trista

2008 Registered Welsh Pony Filly

Trista is a 2008 registered Welsh yearling filly who came to us because of her owner's health issues. She's quite the defiant little pony who needs a lot of work, but she's got a knowledgeable new human who wants to train her to pull a cart when she's ready. Congratulations Marvin!

T-Man is an 18yo solid Appaloosa gelding that spent his life carting around little kids and now has a new career as a husband horse for one of our neighbors. Congratulations Gary!

Misfire

Misfire is a 10yo solid Paint mare who's had a fairly tough life, but is now living the life of luxury with the gelding of her dreams and an adorable donkey. She's a great trail horse and has lots of trails to explore with her new human. Congratulations Dave!

Holly is a beautiful 17yo registered Holsteiner mare that came to us underweight. She's still gaining weight now that she's been adopted and Maggie can't wait to ride her! Congratulations Maggie!

Genesis

Genesis is a 2005 registered Paint Mare who was trained by a volunteer of HHH. She's a wonderfully laid back mare who is so willing to please. This lucky girl has found a great 4H home and has many trail miles to look forward to. Congratulations Meghan!

Apache is a BLM Mustang gelding captured as a weanling in 2004. He's a sweet little guy who loves attention and will love hitting the trails with his new human. Congratulations Rosemary!

Quest

Quest is a 4 year old Thoroughbred gelding that came to us from Mountaineer racetrack because he was not built to withstand the rigors of the racetrack. Now he is Beth's new dressage project and trail buddy and has two other TB geldings to keep him company. Congratulations Beth!

Abby

Abby is a 2004 Paint mare, sister to Genesis. Abby is a big, beautiful mare who has found a forever home with Chessy, Mandy, and Prince. She's got a lot of trail riding and hunting trips ahead of her! Congratulations Jesse!

Gentry

Gentry is a registered Tennessee Walker gelding that came to us last December with an on again off again lameness. We gave him the Winter off and he's been sound ever since. He and Rosa will have many happy trail rides and 4H events to look forward to! Congratulations Rosa!

Jacob

Jacob is a Percheron/Standardbred gelding born in 2001 who has started his dressage training before coming here to HHH. He was only here for two short weeks before being adopted by another dressage family who couldn't wait to get the big guy home! He'll be a pasture buddy for an Andalusian stud colt and a trail riding buddy for the family. Congratulations Burdick family!

Marbles

Marbles is a 2008 grade gelding with a wonderfully laid-back temperment who is going to have the next couple of years to grow up on a 250 acre farm with some barrel racing quarterhorses, then eventually learn the barrel pattern himself! He'll also be the best buddy and trail riding companion to Stephanie's young son. Congratulations Stephanie!

Frisky

Frisky is a 13yo Paint mare, who is well-trained and will make a great large pony for kids. She came to us healthy and sound and we were just a stopping point to her next great family. Congratulations to the Laskowski family!

Tabby

Tabby, 1995 Standardbred mare. Tabby was trained here at HHH and was an absolute delight to work with! She's a very laid back and easy going mare who's going to love trail riding with her new human. Congratulations Mikayla!

Indy

Indy was recuperating from severe founder and ulcer surgeries when he came to us last year. He's doing much better and has a new home with Julie as a light riding horse for her daughter. Congratulations Julie!

Prince

Prince is a very well-broke Morgan cross gelding who was turned over to us when his owners could no longer keep him. He's got a great new home with Patience and she can't wait to take him down the trail. Congratulations Patience!

Radar

Radar is a 3yo sorrel grade pony who has found a home as a companion to a TNW mare who recently lost her dam and only companion. The two horses get along great and Radar has a new two-legged buddy that can't wait to start his training. Congratulations Marlene!

Hunter

Hunter is a 3yo Paint Pony rescued by local animal control in December 2007. He's now ready to hit the trails with Laci and her dad. Congratulations Laci!

Pearl

Pearl is an 8 year old miniature horse that was turned over to us in the hopes that we could find her a good home. She was hard to catch, but otherwise a very sweet little girl! She is now living in the southern part of the state as a companion to an older miniature mare and a retired quarterhorse mare. Congratulations Amanda!

Chessie

This Arabian/Tennessee Walker cross came to us with his mother, Duchess, when their owners could no longer afford to feed them. Chessy's good looks, charm, and athleticism quickly gained him a great home and he was adopted within a week of arriving here on the farm. Chessy will spend the rest of his days trail riding, camping, and hunting with his new human. Congratulations Pat!
